Looks abandoned, appreciate it's winter. Cafe not open. Toilets had paper, hot water and soap so can't complain about that. Didn't take long to walk round. Playarea if you have children.
Great play to spend some time with kids (there is great playground with sand), bikes and just walking (also with dogs)
Lovely, lovely park, not suitable for off lead walking when the dog is still training, ours shot of, jumped a 'low' wall, unfortunately it was a 6ft drop the other side onto a thankfully not too busy road.
Had an amazing day, saw 50 owls, the largest collection Great Britain, 2 flying displays indoors, very informative. Like most places that have wild life the centre are breeding owls to keep the species going. A great day out, NEED to wear wellies if it's been raining as areas are muddy
Great outdoor park for the kids to play around in, lots of different types of climbing frames and activity areas with a sandpit or two and small fort to play in as well plus an old steam engine. Loads of space for walking, very picturesque. There is a car park but I can imagine it getting busy and being difficult to find a space.
